In order to spend your vacation safely, you must know several important rules and procedures after obtaining the entry visa. These rules are effective from: February 26, 2022 to all arrivals from any country - as well as the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
You must obtain a valid vaccination certificate with a valid QR code confirming that you are fully vaccinated with full doses of a vaccine recognized by the World Health Organization or the UAE.
You must have a "PCR" test with a negative result with a QR code, issued within 48 hours from the time of taking the sample to the time of the flight from an approved laboratory.
Obtain a valid medical certificate with a QR code issued by the competent authorities to prove that travelers have recovered from “Covid-19” within a period not exceeding one month from the date of arrival.
All certificates must be in English or Arabic, in addition to stating date and time of the examination. PCR results are accepted in other languages as well, on condition that it’s verified at the original place of issuance. Furthermore, the printed certificate must contain a valid QR code. No digital, handwritten or text message certificates will be accepted.
Travel safely with a travel insurance policy
A PCR test may be requested at Dubai airports upon arrival, with a request for self-quarantine until a negative result is issued.
Passengers who test positive should follow the guidelines issued by Dubai Health Authority. All travelers must check the requirements of the country they are leaving from as well.
Children under the age of 12 years old and travelers with severe or moderate disabilities are exempt from PCR screening.
